When Crocs Europe tasked us with growing their Instagram audience we knew we had to tap into newer audiences that would stick around to be loyal fans / customers. To do that, we looked into previously ignored profiles across their key European markets. To boost our numbers we brought in popular meme accounts from the UK (who combined drove nearly 20,000 new followers to the page), reality TV stars who are outspoken fans of the brand, a Gen Z fashion girlie, and a Belgian influencer with a massive fanbase.
By allowing the pages to create content that worked specifically for their audiences, we were able to generate more than 50% increase in followers that stuck around after the campaign and new audiences for Crocs to talk to in the future. Off the back off this successful campaign we also created more meme activations across other markets that drew even more loyal followers.
